I thought that the obstacle course was cool. I was blind folded and stuff but I really liked it. With my group there was a lot of good communication and listening and leadership. We all kind of helped each other out. At the end when we came togehter and started helping each other over the wall was a good idea even though we didn't finish.
I love obstacle courses, and this one was pretty good. I was blind folded, so going across the balance beams was a tad challenging.
I thought that our communication was pretty good, though direction giving needs a bit of work because I had no clue whether or not someone was talking to me at times. Simply stating the first name of the person you're addressing would solve that minute problem. This is a good team building activity to lead us into climbing.
The obstacle course was fun but really scary because i was blind folded. At first i was surprised that we had to go on balance beams and stuff because i thought it would be too dangerous (I'm not very good at balancing) but my group really helped me and told me what to do.
It was definitely interesting. I wasn't thrilled about being blind folded, but I was. It was scary for me to go through the obstacle course not knowing what to expect. I was scared that I would unknowingly step somewhere we weren't supposed to step (off the mats or something).
From what I heard, my group and the other groups helped each other out (like holding the wobbly beam/wood plank). I think that the directions that were given to the blind-folded people could have been better because I was a tad confused at parts.
In this activity I wasnt blind folded so it wasn't hard for me to get through the course and know where i am going. I thought it was a good team building activity and i wish we all could have gotten over, i think we all would have gotten over if we had more time, or had a better plan at the beginning.
i thought it was really easy for me because i didnt wear a blind fold. also our group didnt get to go over the wall so that was one challenge down. our group had great communication skills so it was pretty easy for us.
I liked this activity. It was fun and challenging. I wasn't blindfolded but it was still a challenge to communicate to those who were blindfolded. Overall, I think our group did a great job and the two people that were blindfolded felt safe.
The obstacle course was interesting. I came late so i was on the sides helping ppl in case they fell. I got to hear the way that each group approach the situations. I think this activity really showed the leadership and good communication that we have developed. It was nice to know that every group member looked out for each other from my prespective everyone did a good job!!
I thought everyone did a good job of leading and communicating with each other because it didn't look easy considering half the people had blindfolds and you couldn't fall. Everyone seemed to make it across even if it meant starting from the beginning but that's okey. anne d.
I thought that the obstical course was fun. Our group Didn't get to try the end part but I still liked it. And I think the people in our group worked well together and helped everyone else.
First of all, sorry I did not post anything over the weekend! I was overwhelmed with work and homework.
The obsticle cource was fun and interesting. I was blind-folded, but the blind-folds weren't very effective. I could see the ground a bit. The communication in our group wasn't the greatest, but because I could partially see, that didn't really have much impact on me. I think we should try that again sometime so that we get everyone to finish.
I really liked the obstacle course. Although I believe that communication could have been better. I really wanted to finish the course but my group was one of the last. I really hope that we get to do this activity again.
The obstacle course really wasnt that hard, mostly because i could see out of the bottom of it. i dont really see how this relates to climbing since we wont be blindfolded (thankfully) while climbing and when someone tells us that we need to do something we can actually look and see what they r talking about.
P.S.-i wont be able to post from home for a while since my computer cant boot up.

I liked the obstacle course. Our group had trouble choosing who would wear bandanas, but we ended up figuring it out and it was a lot of fun, and we communicated well.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

I thought the obstacle course was fun. Our group worked together really well. When we combined with other groups it worked even better.

it was pretty cool. Wouldnt mind doing it again, as long as im not the one who is blind folded. We should make it more challenging though next time.

i thought the obstacle course was really fun. it made everyone work together, and once we did, we got through it much easier.
