Well repelling is fun i guess and not as scary as it seems. I didn't really get the full experience of repelling because one of my group members kept the rope too tight and didn't give me any slack. so now i have a wonderful bruise =P (aka battle scar).
can we repel more than once? I want to try again!!! ^.^
Repelling! I really like the people in my group and I had fun repelling. There are still some small things to work on, but I know our group will get better as we continue to practice repelling.
The best part though is falling from the edge of the bleaches. It is fun and scary at the same time!!
On friday my group spent the entire period waiting so no one repelled. I am ready and willing to repel and don't have the slightest bit of fear about it. I feel that it is important for the people in my group that are afraid to repel to go first. This will help them get over their fear and realize its not really scary at all.
I don't like repelling. It's scary. Every time I go I feel like peeing my pants. haha. And Misa I hope that wasn't my fault you have a bruise!! :o oops...
This was a long time ago and i didn't even know we had a blog then so sorry. I really didn't like repelling the first time because I felt like I was going to let go at any second. Thats why I'm scared to repel again.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

I am quite excited, though I bet I will start spazzing right as I stand on the edge and have to lean backwards. Ah, I can see it now!
Well, I want to repel, but I'm a little scared about going down b/c I'm not exactly thrilled about heights.

I was excited about the repelling and it seemed hard on Friday, but it turned out to be a piece of cake when I did go.
